Friendly Reminder

Parent Pick-Up numbers from the 2025-2026 school year may be reused for the 2026-2027 school year, although some student groupings (sibling ridership, carpools, etc.) may require resetting. We are planning to assign car tag number to every student.  While many of our students will not use their car tags, this could be very helpful in the event of a delayed dismissal or a bus rider who must be parent pickup for the day.

Also, please practice patience and grace in the car line, particularly in the first week. Drivers must familiarize themselves with the process, and the car line begins to run quite efficiently after the first week or two.  In fact, on normal days, we load several hundred students in the span of 20 minutes.

It is important to remember external factors such as weather or traffic accidents near the school can significantly impact the dismissal process, student SAFETY will always be our priority.   

Process

1.  Enter the parking lot as denoted above.

2.  Upon entry, please hang your car tag from the mirror.  If you do not have a car tag, please inform a staff member tending to your lane.

3.  Staff will enter the information and call your student out to meet you at the assigned location.

4. Please pull forward until staff directs you to stop.  Do not stop on your own accord; this slows down the process for all cars behind you.

5. If your student does not report to your car at the appointed time, you will be asked to park and provide your license to sign your student out.

To ensure a speedy pickup line, please

1. Display your car tag through the entire line.

2. Remain in your designated pickup lane.

3. Avoid cell phone use and other distractions

4. Follow all instructions from the Parent Pickup staff

Weather

Inclement weather happens, particularly in August and May.  In the presence of lightning or other unsafe weather, student and staff safety is our top priority.  At these times, the dismissal process slows down significantly as a result.  Please be patient!

Car Tags

Each student will received two car tags.  Additional car tags are available for purchase

After 4:45

All students should be picked up no later than 4:45.  Supervision ends 30 minutes after student dismissal, so students needing pickup after 4:45 must enroll in the after school program.
