Challenger Middle School

Challenger Middle School offers before- and after-care for our students. This is a fee-based program that operates any day that school is in session. There will be no After Care for early dismissal days. Before/After Care is not provided when the school is closed for vacations or professional duty days. Students will be provided a meal during both the Before and After Care programs. Students will have time to work on homework in both programs.

Registration

A new registration must be completed each year for your child(ren).  Our registration form will go online in mid-July.

The 2026-2027 Before and After Care registration is now available! 

Fees

The Registration Fee for the Before/After Care program is $25.00/child and $40/family.

• The Before Care Weekly Fee is $55.00 per week per child.
• The After Care Weekly Fee is $30 per week per child.

The weekly fees are a flat fee, which means charges are the same if the student attends 1 day or 5 days. Fees will be prorated for shortened weeks due to holidays, professional duty days, etc.

Paying for the Program

In order to pay for the fees for the program, parents will need to create an account on SchoolCash.

Once a SchoolCash account is created, follow the directions below to pay the registration fee.

1. Select the "Payment for Before and After Care Registration Fee" link above. If you are using your phone, you will need to turn off your WIFI.

2. Choose either:
   1. Individual Registration
   2. Family Registration
3. Deselect the checkbox and add the student’s name in the text box. If you selected family registration, please put all of the students’ names.
4. Select Add to Cart
5. Select Continue
6. Select Sign In
7. Enter Credit or Debit Card Info

Payments for services must always be made in advance of the week beginning services. This means that all weekly fees are due by the Friday prior to the participating week. Weekly charges are billed to your child’s SchoolCash account and are required to be paid each week to remain in the program. Three late payments will result in removal from the program.

Program Hours

• Before Care is from 7:00- 9:15 AM. Students are not allowed to be dropped off prior to 7:00 AM.
• After Care is from 4:15-6:00 PM.

Students must be picked up by 6:00 pm each day. A late fee of $1.00 for each additional minute will be charged beginning at 6:01pm. Late fees are to be paid upon arrival and in your school’s form of payment. Three (3) late pick-ups will result in dismissal from the program.
