Moving to middle school is an exciting milestone, but it can also feel like a big change. At Challenger Middle School, the 6th Grade Advantage provides incoming students with a supportive environment designed to help them build confidence, make connections, and adjust to middle school while enjoying everything CHMS has to offer.
Designed for 6th Grade Success
Our 6th-grade experience includes dedicated spaces, tailored schedules, and specialized support from teachers and staff. This structure allows students to become comfortable with their new routines while gradually developing the independence they need to succeed in middle school.
Safety & Support
Student safety and support are priorities at Challenger. Our campus utilizes OPENGATE, School Resource Officers, Guardians, surveillance systems, and other district safety measures. Due to its inside-design, Challenger Middle School is one of the most secure middle schools in our county.
Start the Year with Confidence
Rising 6th graders are invited to a 6th Grade Orientation to explore the campus, meet staff, and familiarize themselves with their new school. During the orientation, Our Parent Information Session provides an opportunity for parents to learn about schedules, grading, school procedures, athletics, clubs, and other opportunities at Challenger.
